Welcome!
Not sure where to start? You are in the right place!
You may be here as a teacher, or a parent, or both. If you are involved in helping young musicians learn, stay motivated, and make progress in the practice room, this website is for you!
I started this site as a blog over a decade ago to share what I was learning about music, teaching, and the Suzuki Method. The topics we discuss here certainly go beyond the Suzuki method, and all methods of learning are welcome here.
Talking about practice, learning, and teaching music is a passion of mine. I’m excited you’re here to join in. You’ll find resources here that help parents and teachers, just like you reduce conflict in the practice room and help students make more positive and productive progress.

If This Is Your First Time Here I’ve Created This Page To Help You Get Started.

Step #1: Meet Christine!

I started the violin when I was just under 3 years old. While I begged to play I didn’t always love to practice. Fast forward many years and I became a practicing parent to my oldest daughter right about the time I started my teacher training. I learned a lot of things the hard way about how to help her practice well, and I have made it my life’s mission to learn everything I could about helping other families every since!
If you’re wondering more about me & my teaching you can visit my private studio website.
